In April 2025, I took my very first flight to visit my sister in Hawaii, flying Delta First Class for comfort. During my two-week stay, I explored breathtaking beaches, captured stunning photos with my Nikon D3500, and even spotted a rare family of wild mongooses. While Hawaii’s natural beauty amazed me, I also witnessed the challenges facing Native Hawaiians, including homelessness and displacement caused by gentrification. This trip was a mix of awe, reflection, and family reunion—an unforgettable first flight experience.
